| The group will focus on understanding the impact of abuse in childhood
and adulthood by exploring the individual's attitudes, values and definitions of abuse. This group will offer participants an arena for personal development in a safe environment where individuals can work on their healing and recovery from abuse in the context of their relationships with themselves and others. No one can change events that have occurred, participants will be encouraged to explore their relationship to abuse and shift the way they relate to it in the present. We can change our relationship to our experiences, how we relate to them and what meaning we imbue them with in the present whilst integrating the impact it has had on our lives.
