Welcome, my name is Emma and i have a private counselling practice based in Maldon called Inner-Self.

I am a qualified and experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor holding the following qualifications: dip.psychodynamic.couns, dip.counselling.skills and cert.counselling.skills with experience in all areas of counselling including for example low self-esteem, low confidence, anger issues, depression, trauma, identity issues and i have specialized experience in mental health, addictions and abuse.

I am a member of the BACP and I am bound and adhere by their code of ethics for good counselling practice. I am also a member of the NHS Directory for Alternative and Complentary Therapists.

I offer counselling sessions to all adults and adolescents either at my practice address or on a pre-arranged office/home visit basis. My appointments are offered quickly and flexibly at a time that’s convenient for you.

I offer counselling in a warm, relaxed enrionment from an approachable, understanding, empathic, adaptable, honest and real counsellor.
