Solution-focused counselling to overcome anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, phobias and unwanted thoughts or behaviours.

As a fully qualified experienced counsellor and therapist in private practice, I have helped many people to overcome a wide range of issues.

A solution-focused approach is forward-looking and positive whilst still giving the past respectful recognition.

I offer reliable and practical help without “psychobabble”, drawing on the latest research about how the mind works. I also draw on a wide range of techniques which have been established as the most effective for relieving emotional distress, relationship issues and behavioural difficulties including relaxation/calming techniques, guided imagery and learning new thinking and communication styles so you can move on with your life as quickly as possible.

I use various supporting materials such as CDs and handouts which are all included in the fee. Generally the average number of sessions is between 2 and 6 although longer term support is also available.

I am based in Clifton, Bristol. Evening and weekend appointments are available as well as advice by email or telephone.
