I practice as an integrative therapist, which means I have the skills and tools to tailor the right treatment therapy for you. I may use a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy & specialist supportive care.
Danielle completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Psychology in 1998. She went on to do a Master (MA) in Counselling Psychology at Durham University and a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing at King’s College London in 2005.
Over the years I have worked in the NHS and Private sector, and has become a leading specialist in eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, depression and interpersonal relationships. I am currently also a Specialist Service Lead and Senior Psychotherapist at the Maudsley Hospital in London.
I believe in understanding & treating the whole person, which means thinking together about the biological, psychological and social aspects of your life. I understand that life is complex, and coming to see me can give you a space to explore and help you find answers to your questions, improve your mental health wellbeing to reach your full potential & enrich your life.
I am a full member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists, a registered Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council and member of the Counsellors of Counsellors Association.
